Cover question

I’m working on finishing up a short story that I plan on publishing on Kindle in the next week or two.  But I need a cover for it.  So I played around and came up with the following.  I’m just wondering what people think of it.

  1. The cover is nice, but it doesn’t grab me. I like to be able to tell a book by it’s cover.

  2. It is neat however I would make the blue a bit more pale. It is too bright.

  3. Well, it’s a great cover. Depending on my mood it might make me pick up the book and read the back cover. The back cover story is going to have to finish selling it, and it will have to go along with the cover. That’s my opinion. I’m assuming it’s a sci fi story.

  5. So I do not think it is congruent with the title. If you somehow made an image of a phoenix in the stars or you put one lonely little Phoenix somewhere in the midst of the stars then I would like it. Personally it is a little boring and drab for my tastes. I hope you apprecite the honest opinion.

  6. Go to deviantart.com and find a sci-fi piece of art you like and then offer a price — you have no clue how important a cover is to selling a book — and i don’t really think people are going to be pulled in by this — at all.

  7. Liked it! Make sit mysterious
