400 stories!

Posted in Books, Stories, Writing with tags , , , on September 25, 2012 by oneoveralpha

If my bookkeeping is correct (I’m betting that it is close enough because I don’t feel like going back to verify all of this) then the publication of Political Pies also marks the 400th story that I have self-published!  On to 500, which I could conceivable hit late next year.

Fresh pie, coming soon

I just finished the final polish for my third short story collection, Political Pies.  I’ll need about a day to go through all the formatting issues and to upload it, and then there will be a week or so while I wait for the proof copy, but – baring some unforeseen problem – it should be out by the end of the month.

Howdy,

Welcome to my electronic newsletter, covering August 2012.

* * *

My publication news for the past month:

Publication of my short story “Loaner” on my Ficly profile.

Publication of my short story “Do You Remember Me Now?” on my Wattpad profile.

* * *

This month I wrote 7,085 words, giving me a yearly total so far of 64,789.

I wrote every day of August, so I still have five free, no-writing days left this year.

* * *

Around the end of September, I should either have published my third story collection, Political Pies, or will be very close to publishing it.  So keep a look out for that.

Here is my story board at the end of August:

Here is my haiku for the month.

Enjoy,

Steve
